Jennifer Aniston 'purchases USD 14.95m Village penthouse'

Jennifer Aniston has reportedly shelled out 14.95 million dollars on a four-bedroom, four-bath Village penthouse.

Located at 2 Horatio St. in the heart of the West Village, the duplex has a baby nursery, a staircase out of a grand Hollywood mansion, and two outdoor rooftop patios under a water tower that's encased in brick to make it look like a castle, reports the New York Daily News.

The home also boasts three terraces, including a master bedroom suite on the apartment's second floor sandwiched between a west and south terrace. Aniston's alleged new home enjoys full skyline and city views.

Melanie Lazenby, a broker for Prudential Douglas Elliman, denied Aniston went to contract on the apartment.

She did say offers were on the table but wouldn't disclose who has made those offers.

According to sources, Aniston has also put bids on multiple apartments in the City, including an apartment on Bond Street.

Jennifer Aniston 'sees poor perfume sales'

Jennifer Aniston's signature fragrance has reportedly suffered from poor sales since its launch.

Now reports that the actress's lack of promotional work for The Debut has damaged the product's chances.

An insider said: "Jen chose her perfume. But other than launching it at Harrods in London, she's done no promotion.

"No-one knew where to find it and now everyone's lost interest."

No comment has been given by the scent's producers, but the source commented: "They're bound to be disappointed. They can't figure out why no-one wants to smell like Jen.

"Marketing shows most people believe Jen smells 'natural and clean', which is the opposite of why you'd buy a perfume, so maybe that's it."

Jennifer Aniston dog 'treated for depression'

Jennifer Aniston's pet dog Norman has reportedly been diagnosed with depression.

Aniston took Norman to a specialist canine therapist after the dog disappeared for a night and started acting unusually upon his return, claims Now magazine.

A source said: "Jen became seriously worried about Norman's mental health after his disappearance. He came back dazed and lacklustre and often didn't seem to recognise her. She's concerned this could be it for him and she's devastated.

"The dog therapist said Norman was depressed and that's what was causing him to act oddly."

The therapist is said to have prescribed the 15-year-old pet with medication, but Aniston is intent on nursing him back to full health on her own.

The source added: "She's hoping to coax him out of it herself. People may laugh at her, but Norman really is her best friend. She can't bear to see him like this, but he's very old and she's starting to accept he might be on his last legs."

It was reported in 2008 that Aniston spent $250 (£159) on massage, acupuncture and Reiki sessions for Norman.

Aniston 'tops most eligible woman poll'

Jennifer Aniston was voted the most eligible single woman in the world in a recent survey.

According to a 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair poll released today, the former Friends star topped a list of eligible celebs that included Halle Berry and Lady GaGa.


Berry was voted in second, followed by Tiger Woods's ex-wife Elin Nordegren, Betty White, GaGa and Elena Kagen, an associate justice of the US Supreme Court.

In an interview with Vogue, Aniston spoke out against the public perception that she is unlucky in love.

"This whole 'Poor lonely Jen' thing, this idea that I'm so unlucky in love? I actually feel I've been unbelievably lucky in love... I'm right where I'm supposed to be."

Jennifer Aniston Banging John Mayer Again?

There are increasing rumors that Jennifer Aniston is banging her ex John Mayer, and since they both visited Toronto at the same time, several sources have come forward saying these two are bumping uglies one more time.

Just a few days ago, Jenn met Mayer again, this time in Atlanta, where she is filming her new movie Wanderlust (where she will appear fully naked).

Reportedly she went to see his show, after which they left the theater hand in hand and spent the entire night together afterwards.

John Mayer is believed to be taking a break from the limelight.

The 32-year-old singer, who has previously dated stars such as Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jessica Simpson, has reportedly decided to lie "low" after controversial comments he made about Simpson earlier this year.

A friend of Mayer told Us Magazine: "He's been lying low. His CD wasn't huge and that Playboy interview took him down a few pegs."

In the interview, Mayer referred to Simpson as "sexual napalm".

"Be true to yourself"

Jennifer Aniston has affirmed that she just wants to stay "true to herself".

The Bounty Hunter actress insisted that she no longer worries about what the public thinks of her because she would prefer to concentrate on simply making herself happy.

She told WWD: "I don't think you can control that at the end of the day. You can't stunt what you do to please or not please the public. And the media will create stories whether they are true or false. So why stop doing what makes you happy? Be true to yourself and everything else will follow."

Aniston went on to say that she would like to keep her work fresh in future by taking on a wider range of roles.

She added: "Obviously, I'm drawn to comedy, good or bad. But I love doing parts that are different and I sprinkle those throughout to get creatively unstuck.

Jennifer Aniston reveals perfume details

Jennifer Aniston has spoken out about her upcoming fragrance, describing it as "a non-perfume perfume".

The Bounty Hunter star recently confirmed that she will launch debut scent Lolavie later this year.

According to People, she told WWD: "It's been a year-and-a-half journey. I'd been asked to do things before, and it never felt organic.

"But when Leon [Falic, president of the Falic Fashion Group] approached me to be involved with the process from inception to fruition, I thought, 'This could be a creative expression'."

Aniston, who has yet to reveal the ingredients of the scent, added that she "wants people to go, 'What is that? You smell great!'. But most of all I wanted it to smell natural."

The product will reportedly be launched this June at Harrods in London. A release date has not been confirmed yet for the US.
