DMX has been sentenced to one year in an Arizona jail for violating the conditions of his parole.
The rapper - who was previously denied a bail request last month in the case - was sentenced on Thursday after he admitted to drinking alcohol while on probation.
Reuters reports that Superior Court Commissioner Christine Mulleneaux has decided to credit DMX, born Earl Simmons, for the 113 days already spent behind bars while awaiting sentencing.
He was previously on probation for giving a false name to dodge a $7,500 hospital bill as well as for attempted aggravated assault.
