Kate Moss to design her own wedding dress

Supermodel Kate Moss will be designing her own wedding gown as she prepares to walk down the aisle with guitarist Jamie Hince in July.

Designer Vivienne Westwood, 70, who is a close friend of Moss for 15 years, let the secret slip last week, reports dailymail.co.uk.

Asked if she had been approached to create the wedding dress, Vivienne said: "No, I think she's designing it herself. She has done her own fashion range and she knows about clothes. She knows what she is doing, she doesn't need my help."

"Kate is a mate. I've known her for years and I'm really happy for her," she added.

Moss earlier sold her own fashion range through High Street chain Topshop. She and Hince have been together for three-and-a-half year, but became engaged only this month.

Kate Moss to celebrate New Year in Thailand

Kate Moss has opted to return to Thailand for her New Year's Eve celebrations, according to reports.

Bang Showbiz understands that the supermodel was hoping to warm in 2011 at a new destination, but had to resort to Phuket, where she has holidayed for the last four years.

"Kate has been forced to book the same place in Thailand where she's spent New Year's Eve for the past three years," a source claimed.

"She's in a huff because she was desperate for somewhere new, but was turned down by top resorts around the globe because they had no room left. She will now be flying to Amanpuri in Phuket on December 27."

The insider added: "Kate's been moaning that she's not happy going back to the same resort, but to make it more exciting she'll do it in style and raise the roof spending £100,000 on her seven-day stay.

"She's rented a state-of-the-art yacht to cruise around the Andaman Sea and a luxurious villa full of stuff."

Joined by her boyfriend Jamie Hince, her 8-year-old daughter Lila Grace and her mother Linda, the star is said to be "stressing" about the date.

Another source told the Daily Star: "She has had her PA calling around the world to get somewhere warm, glamorous and new but everywhere is already booked up."

British supermodel Kate Moss has a new brand in her list of advertising campaigns. It is now official that Kate Moss will next be seen campaigning for Vogue Eyewear and showcase its latest spring/summer collection. With this the British model replaces Brazilian Gisele Bundchen as the new face of Vogue Eyewear.

According to media reports, the new collection with Kate Moss as its new face will be launched and revealed for public viewing during next year spring. The advertisements have reportedly been shot at the Syon Park in London, which has also served as the set of various popular Hollywood films in the past. With camera work by Mario Testino, we are sure that the Vogue Eyewear campaign is something that the fans of the supermodel are looking forward to.

Representatives of Vogue Eyewear have announced that the new spring/summer collection will see the introduction of a special section, 'Kate's Favourites', a collection of four designs selected by the supermodel herself. Needless to say that Vogue is anticipating a larger number of sales from this particular section.

Vogue Eyewear is not the first time that the British supermodel has been associated with advertisements of eye accessories. Kate Moss was previously in eyewear ads for Just Cavalli, Versace and Yves Saint Laurent. The new Vogue Eyewear collection comprises four sunglasses and two optical frames.

Kate Moss 'marries in secret in Italy'

Supermodel Kate Moss secretly wed her rock guitarist boyfriend Jamie Hince in a ceremony in Sicily in August, according to reports in Britain on Friday.

Moss, 36, and Hince, 40, exchanged vows before a handful of friends and family in a ceremony on the Mediterranean island, the Daily Mirror tabloid reported.

The model walked up the aisle barefoot and wore a see-through white gown for the ceremony in a small church.

Her daughter Lila Grace, from a previous relationship with magazine editor Jefferson Hack, was one of three ring bearers at the wedding.

Moss met Hince, guitarist with The Kills, three years ago.

The Daily Mirror reported that the wedding plans had been kept secret because the couple wanted to avoid media coverage.

Following the ceremony, local villagers reportedly joined in the celebrations outside the church.

Before her relationship with Hince, Moss had been romantically involved with Hollywood star Johnny Depp and wayward rocker Pete Doherty.

Kate Moss ends Topshop partnership

Kate Moss has announced that she will no longer create clothes for Topshop.

The model has decided to end her partnership with the brand after three years of designing for the British retailer, reports Contactmusic.

Label boss Philip Green dismissed rumours that Moss's departure was caused by a rift between the two, stating: "There have been no dramas and we don't need a new muse. There is only one Kate and we are not looking for a replacement.

"Kate has done 14 collections with us. It has been fantastic for us and fantastic for her, but they take more and more time and she cannot do this full-time any more because she has other commitments."

Moss is due to unveil her final collection for Topshop in October.
