Hilary Duff, Comrie 'not ready for kids'

Hilary Duff has admitted that she and new husband Mike Comrie are not thinking about having children just yet.

In an interview on the Valentine on the Morning radio programme, the actress explained that she plans to have kids eventually.

"We're not. We're not thinking about it at all," she said when asked if she and Comrie were already planning a family.

However, the 22-year-old added: "We're exited to have kids. But we don't want to do it now. We've been married for six weeks. We haven't sent thankyou notes out yet. Can we get that out of the way before?"

Duff and Comrie were married in August in Santa Barbara, CA.

Hilary Duff to star in new Spider-Man?

Hollywood actress Hilary Duff has reportedly been spotted with the script of the new Spider-Man movie, sparking rumours that she is to appear in the film franchise.

According to contactmusic.com, the actress was spotted with a script entitled Spider-Man” with a character called “Girl" highlighted on it.

However, it has been claimed the new movie which sees British actor Andrew Garfield take on the role of Peter Parker, previously played by Tobey Maguire, would not feature Mary Jane Watson, the lead female previously portrayed by Kirsten Dunst.

Hilary recently appeared in Gossip Girl (2009) and has a number of movies to be coming up in 2011, including Dolphin's Tale and The Gift Horse”.

She is also working on The Story of Bonnie and Clyde alongside Thora Birch, which is due for release later this year.

Stepping out for a morning pick-me-up while exercising her pooch, Hilary Duff was spotted out in Toluca Lake, CA on Saturday (May 15).

The “Beauty and the Briefcase” gal looked cute in workout gear as she walked along with her furry friend and made a stop at a walk-up coffee joint.

In other news, Ms Duff is all set to release her first novel called “Elixir” this October with the help of Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers.

According to reports, the book combines the overpowering allure of a dangerous love triangle with thrilling international adventure.
