Though she's done films with her once special friend in a lot of movies and has maintained cordial relations, the past does haunt, no?"

But Kareena Kapoor who must be keen on repeating her Jab We Met success might take up the offer with or without Hrithik.

Robert Pattinson finds theatre daunting

Robert Pattinson says that as much as he would like to appear in a theatre production, he fears his overzealous fans could spoil the experience.

“I love to do theatre stuff but right now I couldn’t imagine it being a good experience. I just couldn’t imagine it being anything other than people constantly taking photos and stuff.

“I think it’s too much for me to take. I need to have that separation. It’s like there’s too much energy in an audience,” the Daily Express quoted Pattinson as saying.

The British hunk, who plays vampire Edward Cullen in ‘Twilight’, is making the fourth film in the series, Breaking Dawn, in Canada.

Women are treated badly in developing countries, says Annie Lennox

Scottish singer Annie Lennox has admitted she had a 'wake-up call' when visiting developing countries.

The 56-year-old is doing her best to raise awareness of International Women's Day, which takes place annually on March 8 and aims to celebrate female achievements in the spheres of economics, politics and social changes.

Annie is well-known for her charity work, and this year she has visited developing countries such as Malawi in Africa, which made her realize there is still so much to be done in the realm of women's rights across the globe.

"My wake-up call came when I was visiting developing countries, where I saw women who weren't even near the bottom rung of the ladder and I realised women were being treated so badly and there were so many issues," Stuff.co.nz quoted her as telling British daytime television show This Morning.

"I do sometimes want time to myself but I am so motivated, I am so fortunate in my life. My children are more adult now and they are healthy. As a mother it is such a privilege to have healthy children and I feel so passionately about that and in my lifetime I want to help women move forward," she said.

"I don't do what I do to get awards. I want to be a voice for women who don't have a voice and don't have anywhere to go. I want to encourage them to make the transformation in their lifetime," added Annie.

Exercise keeps me sane

Kate Winslet has credited exercise with helping her to feel good about herself following her split from ex-husband Sam Mendes.

The actress - who divorced from the American Beauty director in 2010 after seven years of marriage - admitted that she engaged in more physical activity after becoming single in order to feel healthier for her two children.

"That's the main reason I took it up... But I do feel... I don't know... part of, I suppose, my way out of everything, has been really taking care of myself," she explained to Vogue.

"I think that comes from an awareness that my children really need me, and they need me to be the healthiest version of myself that I can possibly be."

She went on to say that she feels good about her place in life now, adding: "I actually keep saying it out loud. Last night I went out for a drink with two friends and, as we were walking, I said, 'God, you know, I feel so good'.

Lindsay Lohan to sue jewellery store?

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly planning to sue the jewellery store that she allegedly stole a necklace from, after it released surveillance footage of the day in question.

TMZ reports that Kamofie & Company sold the distribution rights to the footage - showing Lohan looking at items in the shop - to the AP, which then arranged a deal with Entertainment Tonight to give exclusive rights to air the recording for seven days.

However, Lohan is said to be exploring her legal options, after claiming that the money made from the tape deal - rumoured to be around $40,000 (£24,750) - amounts to profiting from her image.

A representative for Kamofie & Company told the website: "We regret to hear there is trepidation by Miss Lohan in connection with the video.

"We hope that everyone understands that this is beyond our control; the flood of the requests to see this video were simply too overwhelming. It was truly necessary to put it out."

Lohan is currently facing felony grand theft charges over a necklace which the company claims the actress stole from the showroom. Lohan denies the accusation.

According to the New York Post, Fergie has been taping a reality TV series, ‘Finding Sarah,’ for Winfrey''s OWN cable network, reports the Herald Sun.

And the show, now set to air sometime this summer, has helped the Duchess pay off a substantial portion of the 7 million-dollar debt hanging over her head.

She was caught on a hidden video camera trying to shake down a reporter posing as a business for 500,000 dollars in exchange for meeting her ex-husband, Prince Andrew.

Since then, she has fired most of her staff and been counseled by Winfrey''s financial guru, Suze Ormond, about living within her means.

A spokesman for Fergie said the Prince helped clear the debt but "there are a number of television and book projects in the pipeline this year, both in America and the UK, which will begin to bring in revenue."

Matt Damon hits out at Barack Obama

Actor Matt Damon has criticised US President Barack Obama for failing to fulfil his promises.

Damon campaigned heavily for Obama to win the presidential elections in 2008, but now feels bad on his failure to fix the US economy and unemployment problem, reports contactmusic.com.

"I think he's rolled over to Wall Street completely. The economy has huge problems. We still have all these banks that are too big to fail. They're bigger and making more money than ever," he told The Independent.

"Unemployment at 10 percent? It's terrible... They had a chance that they don't have any more to stand up for things. They've probably squandered that at this point. They'll probably just make whatever deals they can to try and get elected again," he added.

The actor says he isn't happy with Obama's handling of education in the country.

"They have to get people who actually know about educating kids in positions of power. Now they're trying to get business people to come and manage schools like they're factories. It's not going to work," he said.

"Rango," hailed by critics as clever and eccentric, proved in its debut weekend to be another successful pairing of Depp with director Gore Verbinski, who helmed the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise.
Matt Damon's thriller "The Adjustment Bureau" debuted at number two, taking $21 million, according to industry tracker Exhibitor Relations. It is based on a 1954 short story by Philip K. Dick ("Minority Report" and "Blade Runner").

Shaggy-headed Justin Bieber was next, as his "Never Say Never" concert documentary was tenth with $4.3 million. The Canadian pop star turned 17 on March 1.(AFP)

Emma Watson to launch 'green' fashion line

'Harry Potter' star Emma Watson is busting into the high-fashion world, by collaborating with fashion house Alberta Ferreti to create an eco-friendly collection.

Watson, 20, is working on the 'Pure Threads' collection meant for "sensitive people, who want to be supportive of these kind of issues," the New York Post quoted Ferretti as telling WWD.

The designer said she was attracted to Watson because of her "freshness...spontaneity and simplicity."

"She is intelligent, with a strong personality, a young, modern girl," she said of the actress.

This is not Watson's first foray into the world of fashion; she modelled for Burberry's Autumn/Winter campaign in 2009 and appeared in their 2010 Spring/Summer campaign alongside her brother, Alex.

The British actress also began working as a creative adviser for People Tree, a fair trade fashion brand, in February 2010. Part of the proceeds of her Ferretti line will benefit People Tree.

"I'm pleased that a luxury brand such as Alberta Ferretti has decided to create ecological clothes," Watson said in a statement about her latest venture.

"I believe this is a big step forward for all of the international fashion industry, but also an important step for an increased sensitivity to the problem of ecology," she added.

Jennifer Hudson bounces back with new album, upcoming movie

Jennifer Hudson, who flaunted her slim figure at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards this year, is back with a bang.

The 29-year-old dropped from a size 16 to a size 6 in just 12 months after giving birth to her son David Jr. in August 2009 by following Weight Watchers (she's now their spokeswoman) and hitting the gym five times a week.

The Oscar-winning 'Dreamgirls' starlet's incredible transformation turned heads, as she looked svelte as ever in a tangerine Versace gown.

Hudson, who has been lying low since the tragic murders of her mother and brother in 2008, is re-entering the spotlight with a second studio album, 'I Remember Me,' out on March 22.

She also has a challenging new role as Nelson Mandela's wife in the upcoming biopic 'Winnie', reports the New York Daily News.

Hudson tells EW.com of her new album: "I named it 'I Remember Me' because I feel like in 29 years I 've led over four different lives.

"It is a disk of everything I've been through. I don't have much from my old stuff to grasp at, so the only way I remember me is from my voice or the scar on my hand. That's a part of me and I want to remember it all."

Blank Sex Book is a Best-Seller

What does every man think apart from sex? A British author says "nothing" and has written a book on it. Except that the book has just a cover and has 200 blank pages. Sheridan Simove's book is titled - What Every Man Thinks About Apart From Sex, the Daily Express reported.

Students across Britain have understood the joke and are flocking to bookstores to buy the 4.69-pound paperback.

The book has hit number 744 on the Amazon list, ahead of Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code (number 2,910) and JK Rowling's Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix (2,406).

Nottingham University student Jess Lloyd said: "I bought a copy for my mate as a joke and he started using it as a note pad for lectures. Now everyone seems to have one. It's started a real craze on campus."

Fans have also joined in with book reviews.

"A must read for students studying anything to do with gender politics", "Couldn't put it down" and "Deeply insightful", a few reviews said.

One buyer even says, "I can't wait for the sequel!"

Sheridan, 39, is an Oxford University psychology graduate.

He said, "I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I would outsell Harry Potter."

Matt Damon, Ben Affleck paid for auditions from joint bank account

Matt Damon has revealed that he shared a bank account with best friend Ben Affleck before they rose to fame.

He said that they often used to share their funds to pay for audition trips.

"I started coming down here to New York by myself with money I had made in local commercials in Boston," the Daily Express quoted Damon as telling 'Piers Morgan Tonight'.

"Ben and I actually had a joint bank account and the bank account was money we had made from doing local commercials and we could only use it on trips to New York to audition.

"When I look back at that, a 16 and 14 year old, we were really young to be taking the bus by ourselves to New York and spending a day going to an audition - we were living adult lives as teenagers."
