The rap star, who split from the singer shortly before the birth of their first son last year, was rumoured to be undergoing laser surgery to have a tattoo of the singer's name erased from his arm.
Nas has dismissed the reports and insisted he has no idea where the rumour began.
Speaking to Vibe, he said: "No words about any tattoos came from me this year or last year. So I don't know what that is.
"I don't really think about tattoos, I just think about adding more."
