Rihanna Is Afraid Of Childbirth & Considers Adoption In The Future

Rihanna is contemplating adopting a child in the future - because she's terrified of giving birth.

The singer has opened up about her future family plans, insisting she's excited to experience motherhood and she'll do whatever it takes to have kids.

She tells Britain's In:Demand radio show, "I'm really scared of the actual childbirth situation but I do want to be a mom one day. Even if I have to adopt, I want to be a mom."

I am a great kisser

Justin Bieber has boasted of his kissing qualities.

The 16-year-old singer also revealed that he has made out with "a couple of chicks".

He told KISS-FM's Johnjay and Rich show: "I'm a good - I'm a great kisser."

After one of the radio hosts complimented Bieber's "nice, little lips", the teen jestfully retorted: "Oh, I don't know why you are saying that."

Speaking about driving his new Range Rover, Bieber added: "I mean, if you're driving you make a little stop at, you know, the Wal-Mart rest-stop, you're good."

Bret Michaels having trouble moving legs

Bret Michaels has said that he's still having problems moving his lower extremities after his brain haemorrhage last month.

Speaking to Oprah Winfrey on her chatshow, the rocker revealed that he has also been suffering from headaches ever since being released from hospital earlier this month. It was his first televised interview since leaving hospital.

The Celebrity Apprentice contestant added that he is doing two rehab sessions a day in order to expedite his recovery.

"Each day it gets better," he said.

Michaels plans to go back on tour on May 28.

Lindsay Lohan New Lesbian Flame

Lindsay Lohan has a new girlfriend: Indian fashion photographer and Bravo TV girl Indrina. It was just about time she got over Sam Ronson, don't you agree?

The best part is that LiLo's new flame is quite attractive and is not masculine and ugly like Ronson. Nope! Indrina is a beautiful and very feminine lady with a killer body, nicely sized natural boobs and a real job.

Aged 36 years old, and having come out of the closet a long time ago, Indrina has lots to offer LiLo, in addition to tons of lesbian tips and tricks to teach her. Good for Lindsay!

MacGruber

Faced with the challenge of expanding a recurring, fitfully funny 60-second SNL sketch starring Will Forte as a clueless '80s-style action hero into a feature-length movie, the SNL brain trust behind MacGruber digs deep: Writers Forte, John Solomon, and Jorma Taccone (who also directed) jack up the cartoon-violent story with an onslaught of crude sexual jokes and activities pertaining to male genitalia and its capabilities, and flush the dialogue with a torrent of dirty language. You can't touch that, stupid network TV censors!

The result is a naughty throwaway in all senses of the word throwaway-90 minutes of talented performers doing and saying dumb, crude stuff in pursuit of an elusive laugh, in a disposable action-comedy primarily geared to young men and the 11-year-old boys who will want to sneak into the R-rated screening. Lured out of retirement by his former commanding officer (Powers Boothe from Sin City) to bring down an evil arms dealer (Val Kilmer), Forte's MacGruber, a decorated Green Beret, Navy SEAL, and Army Ranger, recruits two other associates (Ryan Phillippe and SNL's Kristen Wiig) to help him, with wildly uneven results. Even when the evil arms dealer eludes them, they enjoy saying his name, Dieter Von Cunth, especially because the h is all but silent. (You can't touch that either, NBC suits!) Wiig draws on her special skills at playing women who are somewhere between plucky and damaged; Phillippe is a nice comedy surprise as straight man among the buffoons.

Well aware that sometimes all a moviegoer wants is to be entertained by the sight of a guy proudly displaying a stalk of celery inserted between his naked butt cheeks, I still hope and dream that such a moviegoer wants more than MacGruber.

Angela Griffin defends Ashley Cole

Waterloo Road actress Angela Griffin has defended Ashley Cole over a recent sex allegation.

The star expressed doubts at Lucy Phillips's claims that she had been approached by the international footballer in a club.

Speaking on her daytime Sky1 chatshow Angela and Friends, Griffin explained: "I think it's not fair that a girl goes into a guy's toilets and then sells her story."

Robin Hood

As you meander through the dense, dark forest of high-minded murk that is Ridley Scott's Robin Hood, here are a few things that you won't be seeing: a scene in which Robin Longstride (Russell Crowe) steals from the rich and gives to the poor. A scene in which he dons a disguise to win an archery contest, or gets Friar Tuck to carry him across a stream, or leaves the Sheriff of Nottingham fulminating in his boots. A moment when Robin's men behave in a way that could remotely be described as ''merry.'' A rousing sword fight. A pinch of lightness, frivolity, comedy, adventure, or — wait, I think this is the word I'm searching for — fun.

The new Robin Hood, you see, is an origin story, a prequel to the legend, which is why it contains virtually none of the famous and invigorating scamp-of-the-woods mythology. Now, I'm all for a new take on an old story. But Scott and his screenwriter, Brian Helgeland, work so mightily to turn Robin
into a stolidly noble, pre-notorious version of himself that they forget to make him at all magical. Rousing. A hero of the glen. The filmmakers drown us in ''realism,'' with a cast of actors mangy enough to look like entrants in a medieval drinking contest. And the way Crowe plays Robin, which is heavily, without ever once modulating his impassive, minimalist squint, he's far too even-keeled to inspire us. He's like the hero of Gladiator, only without a vengeful mission — or a slave to fight.

The movie works hard to set up Robin as a valiant outsider. He starts off as an archer in the army of King Richard the Lionheart (Danny Huston), and amid much generic slaughter, the movie calls on him to give an anachronistic speech about how a Crusade against Muslims is not something that God would approve of. He then travels all the way to Nottingham to report the death of his comrade Sir Robert Loxley (Douglas Hodge) — quite a trek for a Good Samaritan impulse.

Once there, Robin joins the Loxley clan, but Scott, having dosed us with an early case of battle fatigue, never finds a dramatic tone. Max von Sydow, as the grizzled Walter Loxley, gives his rare annoying performance; he tries to be knowing but just comes off as coyly belligerent. And Cate Blanchett, as Lady Marion (the widow of Sir Robert), comports herself with such proud, strong-as-any-man severity that there's no softness or romance to her. When she helps Robin off with his chain mail, it's supposed to be erotic, but the two might as well be making a bookcase. The scene builds to a carefully angled image of Robin with his shirt off, and about all we can think, looking at Crowe's muscular but still doughy torso, is that he must have worked out for months for this token beefcake shot.

Forget valor and excitement. Scott's Robin Hood is all about backstory: great teeming gobs of royal-court strategizing and double-crossing oppression. The movie features a newly crowned monarch, the weakling tyrant King John (Oscar Isaac), who is mad for taxes. He's also short enough to have the 12th-century version of a Napoleon complex, which he's too obvious in his treachery to hide. His right-hand man, the more devious Godfrey, is a saboteur who is secretly collaborating with King Philip of France. Mark Strong, as Godfrey, is creepy, like a feral, chrome-domed Steve Carell, with a stitched scar next to his mouth (where Robin shot him with an arrow). But that scar is just about the only thing that connects Robin to all the by-the-numbers political chicanery.

Scott and Crowe made a great movie out of Gladiator, tapping deep into the showbiz masculine bravura of ancient-world Hollywood spectaculars. In Robin Hood, Scott tries to go deep again, but in a misguided way — he thinks he's making a pop-medieval Saving Private Robin. The battles are grainy and ''existential,'' but what they aren't is thrilling. They're surging crowd scenes with streams of arrows and flecks of blood, and Crowe, slashing his way through them, is a glorified extra. He's so grimly possessed with purpose that he's a bore, and so is the movie.

Megan Fox 'angry after photos leak'

Megan Fox has reportedly promised revenge after topless photos of her were released on the internet.

The 24-year-old actress, who was apparently snapped by a member of the public while filming Passion Play, vowed to "personally" cause whoever took the pictures "physical harm".

She told Metro: "If I knew who took this picture, I would personally cause them harm - physical harm.

"I'm not a f**king reality TV star that's courting the paparazzi and wants my f**king picture taken all the time."

Fox added: "I'm at my job and I'm trying to play a character and I'm trying to be serious, and this is the s**t that's happening to me. It makes me furious."

I heart the Pavelkas

Eliza Dushku has reportedly insisted that she is a big fan of The Bachelor's Vienna Girardi after she made a recent joke about the reality star.

The former Buffy The Vampire Slayer actress had posted a picture on her Twitter account which seemed to show Girardi looking at her boyfriend Rick Fox.

The image was accompanied by a joke caption suggesting that Girardi better stay away from him.

Writing on her account later, Dushku said: "I heart the Pavelkas. Will fresh cut some flowers for Vienna in the a.m. & apologize if I hurt feelings (sic)."

Girardi became engaged to Pavelka on the season finale of The Bachelor, while Dushku has been dating Fox since last year.

Aishwarya Rai underwent emergency Eye treatment

Aishwarya Rai underwent emergency medical treatment for an eye infection before she attended the Cannes Film Festival, according to Mid Day.

It has been suggested that the actress was concerned about appearing on the red carpet with red eye so sought treatment from Lilavati Hospital in Bandra before she left for France.

"Aishwarya was wearing huge, dark glares [sunglasses]. Her mother escorted her. In spite of the glares and her attempts to remain as inconspicuous as ever, she was easily recognised. But no-one went up to her and let her be as it was the hospital corridor," a source revealed.

"Everyone spoke about Aishwarya in hushed tones and soon word spread about the reason behind the visit. She was seen visiting eye specialist Dr Himanshu Mehta in the hospital."

The star's hectic schedule and the heat had apparently taken a toll on her eyes, causing an infection. She reportedly left the hospital immediately after receiving treatment.

Padukone explains Cannes dress choice

Deepika Padukone has said that she decided to wear a saree when she walked the red carpet at Cannes because she wanted to represent India.

The 24-year-old actress, who was born in Denmark, claimed that she always prefers to attend international events wearing the Indian national costume.

"Long ago when I had started modeling, I had promised myself that whenever I attend an international event, I'd wear a saree because I'd rather represent my country in the national costume than in western clothes. I get enough opportunities at home to wear western clothes. When I'm seen at an international event I’d rather be fully Indian," Padukone told Real Bollywood.

"I find the saree very Indian and yet very sensuous. I wore an off-white Rohit Bal creation on the red carpet. It felt good to be so Indian so far away from home.

"Here at Cannes, they aren’t looking at me or anyone else from Bollywood as oddities. Even if I was in a saree I didn't feel marginalised or ethnic. I feel…at home!"

turns down Playboy

Sherlyn Chopra has refused an offer to appear nude in Playboy magazine, according to Mid Day.

Rumours have claimed that a Playboy photographer contacted the Indian model and actress through her US agent.

Apparently the snapper approached Chopra, 26, after he saw pictures of her posing in a bikini.

Reports suggested that the actress had to think twice about the offer but refused because “her Indian mentality got in the way”.

She was allegedly concerned that she might get cold feet on the day of the shoot.

Solitary Man

In contrast to the emotional inertia of the character he plays, a former big-wheel car dealer gunning toward self-destruction as he nears 60, Michael Douglas surges ahead in Solitary Man with the best work he's done in the decade since Wonder Boys. Douglas portrays Ben Kalmen, a New York player gone to seed and divorced from a good, mature woman (Susan Sarandon, equally revitalized). He's squandering the love of his adult daughter (Jenna Fischer, superb). And he's compulsively chasing inappropriate women — some as young as the college-age daughter (Imogen Poots) of his girlfriend (Mary-Louise Parker).

With an outstanding screenplay by Brian Koppelman and disciplined direction by Koppelman and David Levien, a story that could have been generic (or worse, scented with flowery bulls---) turns into a precise, honest, and affecting drama. And recognizing the gift of such a character, Douglas does Ben Kalmen the honor of playing him exactly as he lies.

Jennifer Lopez Helps Raise $6.7 Million At Charity Auction

Jennifer Lopez helped raise $6.7 million for AIDS research at a star-studded gala in France on Thursday.

The superstar took time out from the Cannes Film Festival to help auction off 10 lavish gifts, including a gold-plated bottle of Dom Perignon champagne, a day with former president Bill Clinton, and a flight in a fighter jet. Lopez was joined by celebrities in the audience including Paris Hilton, Naomi Watts, Mick Jagger and Naomi Campbell.

Meanwhile, Mary J. Blige and Patti Smith provided the music and Russell Crowe helped lead the bids. During the show, actress Michelle Williams helped sell off the champagne bottle, which eventually fetched $80,000 , while each seat at the event cost $6,000.

And the stars' efforts paid off - The Cinema Against AIDS benefit raised $6.7 million in total.

Kelly Preston is Pregnant

Now this comes as a shocker: Kelly Preston is pregnant at the ripe age of 47 and just months after having lost a son.
You probably remember when John Travolta and Kelly Preston's son Jett died in a home accident earlier this year.

The couple announced that they are expecting, with John Travolta posting this message on his website: "It's impossible to keep a secret... especially one as wonderful as this. We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone that we are expecting a new addition to our family. Love, John, Kelly and Ella"

Busy In The Big Apple

Tending to her many responsibilities, Mary Kate Olsen was spotted leaving her New York City apartment earlier on (May 19).

The actress/designer looked to be in a bit of a hurry as she hopped into a chauffeured car to avoid the lingering paparazzi.

And while it was thought that Mary Kate was on a plane that performed an emergency landing on Sunday night, it turns out it was actually her twin sister Ashley.

Olsen’s rep confirmed that Ashley and her boyfriend Justin Bartha were on the flight that landed in Virginia due to some complications. They’re both fine.

Letters to Juliet

How ridiculously romantic is Letters to Juliet? How excessively dolce is this cinematic wish-fulfillment fantasy composed as a sonnet (with a pop-song backbeat) to good wine, beautiful people, Italian vineyards, the enduring power of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, and the enduring love between Vanessa Redgrave and Italian actor Franco Nero? Let me put it this way: It's so shamelessly dreamy that not only does flaxen-haired Sophie (Amanda Seyfried, kissed by the camera), an aspiring writer with a mismatched fiancé, find true love on the sun-dappled back roads of Tuscany, but she also gets published in The New Yorker! On her first try!

Redgrave shimmers like one of Tuscany's magnificent cypress trees as an Englishwoman searching for Lorenzo (Nero), the Italian man she loved a half century earlier; generic Australian cutie Christopher Egan plays the strapping grandson by her side. (It's a fantastical world indeed when Gael García Bernal plays the wrong man for fair Sophie.) But soft! Director Gary Winick and cinematographer Marco Pontecorvo fit together the fate-tossed stuff of mass-appeal love stories and the seductive imagery of travelogue vacation movies so smoothly that the sequel to Letters to Juliet might well be Letters to Orbitz: Find me a flight to Verona!

Washington DC Darling

Fresh from the annual Cannes Film Festival in France, Eva Longoria was spotted arriving at the Reagan National Airport in Washinton D.C. on Wednesday (May 19).

Dressed super cute and casual, the “Desperate Housewives” actress cracked a smile for the paparazzi as she headed out of the terminal, dragging her luggage behind her.

In other news, Ms Longoria, who was recently profiled on NBC Nightly News, explained her reasoning behind “Eva’s Heroes,” a charity that helps kids with special needs.

With a sister who is intellectually disabled and a heart-of-gold, Eva decided to start the organization to enrich the lives of young people who have development challenges.

Lindsay Lohan Loses Passport, Probation To Be Revoked

She’s been living it up in Cannes, France but Lindsay Lohan is in for a rude awakening when she returns to the States for her court date tomorrow.

According to a report, the judge overseeing her alcohol probation has indicated that he’ll be revoking her probation, making it likely that she’ll serve jail time.

Until the following probation violation hearing, LiLo will be forced to wear an alcohol monitoring bracelet that will prohibit her from consuming alcohol.

Another complication throwing a wrench in the works is Lohan’s claim to have lost her passport while spending time at the 2010 Cannes International Film Festival.

Lindsay’s lawman explained, "Lindsay is doing everything in her power to get back to L.A. She tried to get on her flight yesterday without her passport and was turned away. We were working into the wee hours of the morning trying to get her a temporary passport in order to get her home.”

Unfortunately for Lohan, there was no record of a flight having been booked. If she misses her court date tomorrow, she’ll have a warrant issued for her arrest.

Back To Rehab

He’s had struggles with addiction in the past, and now Jonathan Rhys Meyers has checked back into rehab for his alcoholism.

The “Tudors” actor was observed “pounding drinks” before a flight recently and was prohibited from boarding the plane by airline personnel. He was reportedly belligerent and disruptive throughout the ordeal and has since decided to get help for his drinking.

An inside source told press, “He just really wants to get better. This has been an ongoing battle for him.”

Hopefully this time around, the 32-year-old actor will be able to get the help he needs to stay sober and continue his promising career.

Poolside Fun With Samuel

Enjoying the beautiful springtime weather, Naomi Watts was spotted chilling out by the pool at her exclusive Five Stars Luxury hotel Eden Roc on (May 18).

Joined by her little boy Samuel Kai Schreiber, the “21 Grams” babe looked lovely in a black swimsuit as she spent some quality mother-son bonding time.

In career news, Naomi is gearing up for an awesome new film role- she’ll play Marilyn Monroe in the biopic “Blonde.”

The movie is based on Joyce Carol Oates’ novel and follows Marilyn’s relationships with John F. Kennedy and Joe DiMaggio.

James Cameron Facing 'Avatar' Lawsuit

James Cameron is facing a lawsuit from an author who alleges the filmmaker stole his idea for blockbuster movie Avatar.

Writer Kelly Van alleges Cameron based the movie, which became the world's highest-grossing film earlier this year, on his online book Sheila the Warrior: The Damned? Cameron insists he's never seen the story, but Van has filed papers alleging both the director and movie studio 20th Century Fox plagiarized his plotline and character details. Van claims the "demeanor," "attire," "motions" and "powers/rituals" of the Na'vi characters, as well as the "settings" and "scenes" are based entirely on her work.

However, a spokesperson for Fox, Chris Petrikin, has slammed the lawsuit, saying in a statement, "It's absolutely baseless. Jim Cameron's treatment for Avatar was written before Ms. Van alleges she even started to write her book."

Cameron reportedly completed Avatar's script in 1998, but Van's attorney Kevin Mirch insists: "We did a lot of research, and the copyright says Avatar was copyrighted on April 1 of 2007. The date of (Van's) creation was in 2000, and it was published on the Internet in 2003. Avatar was done much later. It's just contrary to what they said to us - which they did in a very rude manner. (Cameron's) lawyer wrote us a letter saying they would go after our law firm and our client if it wasn't dismissed immediately. To have letters that say they're going to sue us and they're going to bankrupt us is bad business."

In March, a court in China dismissed a lawsuit from writer Zhou Shaomou, who claimed Cameron had copied the plot from his 1997 novel, The Legend of the Blue Crow.

Mischa Barton Is A Hot Mess Showing Off Her Cans In Cannes

Mischa Barton showed some junk in the trunk not too long ago when she was spotted wearing high-waist yellow jeans. The actress is showing off a little plumpness again - only this time it's in a different spot.

Mischa wore a white satin chiffon Marchesa gown with a ruffled off-the-shoulder neckline at the "2010 amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS" near Cannes yesterday. Cleavage, much?

Ex-boyfriend Brandon Davis recently called her "one of the fattest people on the planet." In a post on Twitter, he wrote: "Omg. Just realized my ex turned in to 1 of the fattest people on the planet. I'm gonna start dating plus size models. Not! Mischa the Hefer (sic)."

What do you think of Mischa's fuller figure?

I am old and tired

Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed that she feels "old and tired".

The 45-year-old Sex and the City actress - who has 7-year-old son James and 10-month-old twin daughters called Marion and Tabitha with actor Matthew Broderick - said that she "runs around" after them all the time.

Parker told Heat magazine: "I don't have a beauty secret. I feel old and tired! I have children I run round after, I try to walk as much as possible, and other than that I buy every cream possible.

"I love beautiful clothes and am privileged enough to have access to a lot of them, but they're returned the next day. They're not mine!

"Having my boy and now the twins, life is delightful. When I used to come to London, my first stop was Harvey Nichols, but now it's all about Hamleys toy shop. That store is amazing!

"The girls couldn't be more different. One is constantly looking around and reaching out, the other is very serious and slightly aloof."

Just Wright

The title of the easygoing, machine-made date-night romance Just Wright encapsulates the movie's if-only Cinderella philosophy: Leslie Wright, played by Queen Latifah in a wardrobe of jeans and mall-sensible tops, is a down-to-earth, basketball-loving physical therapist and no-nonsense Jersey girl who is always, refreshingly, just herself. And yet — swish! — her homespun charms eventually win the heart of a prince. Or in this case, a prince of a fine NBA basketball star, played with low-key charisma by hip-hop artist/actor Common (Date Night). Even more miraculously, Leslie's large heart outshines the more va-va-voomy assets of a trophy-husband hunter (Paula Patton from Precious) who just happens to be Leslie's childhood friend. Well, a girl can dream that NBA stars roll like that, right?

Don't put on airs, honor your family, pump your own gas: Tyler Perry's Madea would say amen to the code by which Ms. Wright lives. The movie is a rigged game of clichés and platitudes, but fans will be pleased by additional proof that Latifah is a lovable Queen but not a pampered princess. The hoops set can enjoy some courtside action with real pro players. And Cosby Show nostalgists will be happy to see Phylicia Rashad segue from playing Bill Cosby's wife to tsk-tsking as Common's mama.

I wore bra first

Kim Kardashian has revealed that she was the first girl in her fifth-grade class to wear a bra.

In the June issue of Shape, the star admitted that she was extremely unhappy at her early development, and even cried in the bathtub about it.

"I took a washcloth, made it hot, put it over my chest and prayed, 'Please don't let them grow any bigger. They're embarrassing me'," she said.

The 29-year-old said she felt depressed because all of her friends were "super skinny", and she eventually asked her mother for fashion advice.

"I have curves and that's never going to change, so I'd better start embracing them."

Kendra Wilkinson Sex Tape

So Kendra Wilkinson has joined the ever-increasing group of celebrities with sex tapes and enough guts to make them public...
Actually, let me rephrase that: not "enough guts" but enough desire to be very famous. As we all know, since Paris Hilton's sex tape was "accidentally leaked", she reached fame and even more fortune than she could've ever dreamed of doing on her own.

That's probably what most of these celebrities are going on for, and I bet my arse that Kendra Wilkinson's sex tape has no other purpose than to bring her her well deserved 15 minutes of fame.

Motherhood and career is hard

Catriona Rowntree has revealed that she initially struggled to balance motherhood and her career.

The Australian television presenter, who gave birth to son Andrew last August, said that she struggled taking her son with her on a trip for travel show Getaway.

Rowntree told Woman's Day magazine: "I never thought it would be this hard. I actually ended up taking him home after a few days. It's strange - I'd been pressuring the producers to let me bring Andrew along, and include him in one of the stories. But, when push came to shove, it was just too difficult.

"There were vast distances between each story we filmed, no sleep times were scheduled and, to make matters worse, Andrew had his first cold. After I finished filming the one story he was in, it was only fair to take him home.

"It's a bit of a wake-up call, when you've come from a life where you've been in control to realising, 'Oh, it's not all about me anymore. I don't come first'.

"I had wanted it to go really well, because I wanted to prove that [having Andrew] wouldn't be a drama. But I don't know how many trips we'll be doing together."

I suffer from OCD

Megan Fox has said that she suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder.

In an interview with Allure, the 23-year-old actress admitted that she refuses to eat from silverware in restaurants or use public toilets as a result of the illness.

"Every time someone uses a bathroom and they flush, all the bacteria is shot into the air. Putting my mouth where a million other mouths have been, just knowing all the bacteria that you carry in your mouth? Argh!" she said.

"This is a sickness, I have an illness - this is not okay anymore."

The star also insisted that she prefers to be alone and hates the attention that stardom brings.

"I could go days, weeks, without talking to another human being. I hate receiving compliments; I hate being told I'm talented or people think I'm going to be a movie star. I always feel that it's forced and fake."

Hayek cancels moon trip for motherhood

Salma Hayek has revealed that she cancelled a trip to the moon in order to care for her daughter.

The actress admitted that she has become less of a risk-taker since giving birth to daughter Valentina two years ago.

"I reserved my place with the Virgin [Galactic] expedition. And then I got pregnant. And now I'm a mother. So, I'm not going to go," she told In Style.

"I love scuba diving and used to dive where the sharks were, and now? No more sharks. Everything becomes about the baby. You are in second position, or third."

However, the star insisted that she still takes time away from the responsibilities of motherhood to pamper herself.

"You have to balance everything in your life and while, yes, your children and husband must be important, you have to dedicate time to yourself. The mother of today needs to find ways to be comfortable and stylish at the same time."

BMI Pop Awards Winner

She’s no stranger to snazzy awards shindigs, and on (May 18) Taylor Swift was in the house for the 58th Annual BMI Pop Awards.

The “Should’ve Said No” songstress looked amazing as she meandered around the Beverly Wilshire Hotel with the likes of legendary singer/songwriter John Fogerty and various other guests.

And of course, Taylor ended up adding to her already-impressive collection of trophies by the time the night was over.

Miss Swift was honored with the Song of the Year award for her mega hit “Love Story,” a song she wrote herself.

Looking for Eric

The British director Ken Loach can be a master of working-class realism, but not in this cranky, rudderless shambles. Eric (Steve Evets), a sad-sack postman from Manchester, has made a mess of his life. Years ago, he ditched his pregnant wife, and he has never recovered from that mistake.

Now, though, he has a savior: the former French soccer superstar Eric Cantona (as himself), who shows up to dispense advice like Humphrey Bogart in Play It Again, Sam. Looking for Eric, with its noisy bloke bluster, hardly sticks to this conceit — or, really, to anything else. It's a kitchen sink full of dirty dishes that don't match.

Beso Buddies

Enjoying a swanky evening out, Ashley Tisdale and her boyfriend Scott Speer hit up Beso nightclub in Hollywood on (May 18).

The “High School Musical” babe and her handsome boyfriend held hands and smiled as they ventured out into the streets of Hollywood.

In related news, Ashley can breathe a sigh of relief as her new show “Hellcats” has been picked up for its first season by the CW Network.

In addition, “One Tree Hill” and “Life Unexpected” also made the Fall 2010 cut, making for a great roster this year.

Neil George Gorgeous

Treating herself to some personal pampering, Reese Witherspoon was spotted at Neil George Salon in Los Angeleson (May 18).

Sporting a fedora with a denim jacket and blue printed dress, the “Sweet Home Alabama” actress looked a bit camera shy as she made her way to the car.

In career news, Reese is set to star opposite Robert Pattinson in the upcoming movie “Water For Elephants.”

Though Ms. Witherspoon will play the love interest of Robert’s character, there are no worries of any real sparks between them. Reese told press, “When I met Rob, I didn’t think twice about him.”

Custody Complications

It seemed as though their split was going to be amicable, but now Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry are butting heads over the custody of their daughter Nahla.

According to a report, the “Monster’s Ball” babe will be flying to South Africa for a three-month movie shoot, and as a result Gabriel is going to fight for full custody rights.

An insider told press, “It’s been pretty difficult for Gabriel to see Nahla the last few weeks. He’s really getting sick of it and it’s getting to the point where he is seriously considering his options regarding pursuing permanent custody.”

The source continued, “He refuses to give up rights to his daughter, he loves her more than anything and is determined to be a regular, full time fixture in her life.”

“The latest issue is that Halle is due to move to South Africa during July, August and September to work on a movie and she wants to take Nahla with her full time. That would mean Gabriel not seeing his daughter for three whole months and there’s no way he’s going to allow that.”

“Gabriel requested that he be allowed to keep Nahla with him in Los Angeles but Halle wouldn’t let that happen, so the two reached a total stalemate and it started getting nasty, with both of them looking into entering a legal battle.”

“In the end they reached an agreement. Basically Halle is going to pay Gabriel to be a kind of full time nanny and to come to South Africa for the three months she’s there, and to be Nahla’s full-time caregiver.”

Sexy In Santa Monica

Taking care of some business, Katie Holmes was spotted out and about in Santa Monica, California on May 18.

The “Dawson’s Creek” darling was looking cute in casual in a plaid button-up shirt with cuffed jeans as she headed into a studio.

The night before, Kate and her husband Tom Cruise were spotted at a ceremony to honor Jerry Bruckheimer at Grauman’s Chinese Theater.

Mingling with Nicolas Cage, Billy Bob Thornton, and Eddie Murphy, TomKat left afterwards and went to the SoHo House for dinner.

Demi Lovato Takes On The Big Apple

Out for promotional obligations, Demi Lovato was spotted in midtown New York City on Wednesday (May 19).

Dressed in a sexy/rocker-esque outfit, the beautiful brunette was protected by her meaty bodyguard as she walked to the press event with a Red Bull in one hand and her phone in the other.

Last night, Ms Lovato attended a performance of “In the Heights” and was spotted mingling with Corbin Bleu, Olga Merediz, and the rest of the cast at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.

The day before, Demi was spotted making her rounds in New York City to promote “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.”

“In The Heights” Hottie

Stepping out for a night at the theater, Demi Lovato was spotted hanging out backstage after a performance of “In the Heights” last night (May 18).

The Disney darling looked beautiful as she mingled with Corbin Bleu, Olga Merediz, and the rest of the cast at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.

Women Without Men

Iranian-born visual artist Shirin Neshat's love for interactive video installations and abiding interest in Islamic feminine identity are evident in her dreamy first feature, a 2009 Venice Film Festival prizewinner that is stronger on beautiful imagery than on narrative flow.

Set in the politically tumultuous summer of 1953, which set the course for Iran's Islamic revolution of 1979, Women Without Men catalogs political change through the personal stories of four women — a prostitute, an unhappy wife who breaks free of her marriage, a rebel, and a
traditionalist — who cross paths in the kind of mystical orchard that grows best in magical-realist novels

Closet gay celebrities annoy me

Mathew Horne has claimed that he knows two closet gay celebrities.

The actor, who played Boy George's ex-boyfriend on last week's Worried About The Boy, said that it is "unhelpful" for them to "pretend" to be straight in "the public eye".

He told Gay Times magazine: "What I don't like is people who are gay and pretend they're not and they're in the public eye.

"I think that's really unhelpful, and I've known a couple of people and that's been a bit of a bugbear for me, and I don't think that's very cool.

"There's a couple, who both appeal to a young audience. Two people I can think of, one in music, one in acting, [though] it's not my place to out them."

Horne also fought back against suggestions that his sketch show contained homophobic characters.

GaGa applies for hat-making internship?

Lady GaGa has reportedly decided to apply for a hat-making internship.

The Daily Mail reports that the hitmaker will put her music career on hold to pursue the project, which means she will have to relocate to London.

"GaGa's crazy about the idea. Philip Treacy agreed to give her an internship when they met at the Brit Awards. She hopes to take him up on the offer this summer," a source claimed.

"Lady GaGa has requested an internship but Philip will have to check her sewing skills first," a spokesperson for Treacy confirmed.

GaGa was recently unveiled as the new creative director of Polaroid.

Lorraine Kelly dresses as Lady GaGa

GMTV's Lorraine Kelly has dressed up as Lady GaGa for a New magazine shoot.

The presenter, who previously had the Fame Monster star as a guest on the programme, claimed that the "world would be a better place" if everyone dressed like her.

She told the publication: "I love the GaGa! She came onto GMTV and had lace Minnie Mouse ears on and not much else.

"She was great. I love someone that just has fun and takes things to the extreme. She appeals to everyone and is so inspiring."

Kelly added of her continuing stint on breakfast TV: "I honestly think I've got the best job in TV. I get to see movies before they're out, interview stars, talk about big issues of the day - everything.

"As long as everyone still enjoys watching, I'll carry on. I know it will all come to an end at some stage."

I would love to elope

Cameron Diaz has revealed that she would be happy to elope for her wedding.

The Shrek actress, who is believed to be seeing Alex Rodriguez, said that she is a very "romantic" person and would love to have a spontaneous marriage ceremony at some point.

Diaz told Parade: "I am a romantic. I love romance. I'm not afraid of commitment. I commit to everything I'm doing and I am hopelessly loyal.

"The mystique and the romance of a big wedding are lost on me. I don't think that I could ever do something that extravagant. I am not much of a planner.

"I would probably make the phone call 20 minutes before the bus leaves for the chapel and ask if anyone is available to come. That's probably how my wedding is going to end up."

Rodriguez recently revealed that he has no plans to get married any time soon.

Sex abuse inquiry therapeutic

Sarah Monahan has revealed that the recent police inquiry into her alleged child abuse on the set of Hey Dad! was therapeutic.

The actress, who recently accused on-screen father Robert Hughes of abusing her on set 20 years ago, said that she had to endure more than 35 hours of police questioning as part of their investigation into the allegations.

Monahan told The Daily Telegraph: "For anyone still scared of going to the police, I encourage you to do so. While, yes, you do have to go into every little detail, think of it as therapy. They're there to help you."

Sex Crimes Squad boss Detective Superintendent John Kerlatec has not yet revealed whether police would be interviewing 61-year-old Hughes, who has denied all allegations.

The airport is reportedly investigating the incident.

Bumm Bumm Bole

Majid Majidi’s Children Of Heaven comes down to earth in an endearing spiral of the spellbinding and the sensitive.

Let’s not get unnecessarily and unjustly nostalgic about the original Iranian film. This remake, done up in shades of terrorism in the idyllic North-east (region unspecified) is so lyrically lush in its visuals and so gently evocative in treatment that the original material is forgotten ten minutes into the narrative.

A great deal of the credit for the film’s immense intense but toned-down impact must go to the children, Darsheel Safary no longer the pouty buck-teethed moppet from Taare Zameen Par, and little Ziyah Vastani who’s quite easily the most delightful new discovery of the year.

Ziyah in fact steals many scenes from under her brilliant co-star’s nose. If he minds it, he doesn’t show it.

Darsheel and little Ziyah create an intangible and secret world of hushed wonderment and discovery that takes the narrative far beyond the precincts of the original fable about an impoverished pair of siblings’s desperate but disarming attempt to share a pair of shoes.

Yup, Bumm Bumm Bole is quite a ‘shoe’ stopper. The fable is expanded to accommodate a world filled with pain pleasure and other emotions that emerge in the journey from innocence to awareness.

Unlike Vishal Bhardwaj’s The Blue Umbrella or Majid Majidi’s Children Of Heaven, Bumm Bumm…. doesn’t try to be wise at the children’s expense.

Frequently you feel Priyadarshan allowed the children to instinctively empathize with if not fully understand the political complications underlining the social issues of poverty and socio-communal solidarity in times of stress and longing.

Unlike other recent parables on children, innocence and violence set in idyllic sports like Santosh Sivan’s Tahaan and Piyush Jha’s Sikandar, Bumm Bumm Bole doesn’t forget to be an entertaining story.

Priyadrashan, fresh from the triumph of his other socially relevant drama Kanchivaram imbues the pale but passionate dusky light of the mountainous locales with oodles of warmth and emotion.

The kids don’t take over the show. They just slip into the proceedings like two scoops of icecream into a ready steady cone. Darsheel shows a definite and reassuring progress as an actor since his debut.

His rapport with his screen –sister jumps out of the screen and pervades our senses unconditionally. You just want to steal little Ziyah from the screen and take her home.

The two kids are amazingly good. The ever-dependable Atul Kulkarni puts in a supremely credible turn as the harried father who doesn’t forget to smile when the kids are around.

Like other fabulous or farcical creations by Priyadarshan, this one too is shot on picture-postcard locations with the cinematographer (Selvi) and the art director (Sabu Cyril) adding that extra bit of lyricism to every frame without showing off.

Bumm Bumm Bole is a gentle but persuasive piece of work, not just for children though certainly about children who learn fast about the harsh realities of life.

The film follows their trail without getting bitter cynical or hysterical. The constantly even tone is a boon. The kids are a blessing. This film is a soft-spoken and delicate piece of cinema. Not to be missed.
